Served for dessert or breakfast, this healthy treat will leave you guilt-free and full while you satisfy your sweet tooth. With fresh Honeycrisp apples and a quick homemade cinnamon, nut and oat topping, combine the classic apple crumble with yogurt. Try the traditional taste!

Fruit mix ingredients:

  • 6 Honeycrisp apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Other ingredients:

  • 120 grams of oats
  • 60 g walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 3 spoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • yogurt

Preparation:

  1. Heat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Mix the apples, coconut oil, nutmeg and cinnamon well in a bowl and place in a saucepan.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the oatmeal, walnuts, cinnamon, honey and coconut oil until completely combined.
  4. Add the oat mixture to the apple and cover with it.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the oats are done.
  6. Serve with yogurt and more honey if desired.

Fruit mix ingredients:

  • 2 medium apples, peeled, sliced
  • 2 medium pears, peeled and sliced
  • 2 spoons of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 80 ml caramel ice cream

Other ingredients:

  • 100 grams of brown sugar
  • 40 grams of oats
  • 65 g chopped walnuts
  • 35 g all-purpose flour
  • 55 grams of butter

Whipped cream and caramel ice cream to decorate.

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  2. Mix the apples, pears, sugar and paprika in a greased saucepan and spread evenly with the ice cream topping.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, oats, walnuts and flour. Using a fork, cut in the butter mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs. Spread evenly over the fruit mixture and press down lightly.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the fruit is soft and the top is crisp. Let cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
  5. To serve, pour the liquid from the casserole over the fruit and garnish with whipped cream and caramel ice cream. Store in the refrigerator.

The little pumpkin adds a nice touch of pumpkin flavor to the apple slices, even if it’s a bit hollow inside. It makes the apples so juicy and amazing, but keeps the apple slices unstuffed so they’re nice and golden and crisp on top. So crispy and divine!

Preparation: 20 minutes

Ingredients for a stuffed mini pumpkin:

  • 1 small pumpkin
  • 1/2 – 1 apple, peeled and cut into small pieces (depending on the size of your pumpkin)
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of oatmeal
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 tablespoon of butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation:

  1. Set the oven to 180°C.
  2. Cut off the top of the pumpkin and scoop it out with the tip of a spoon.
  3. Mix the apples, lemon juice, flour, sugar, oats, walnuts and cinnamon in a bowl and fill the cavity of the pumpkin. Press firmly and spread a generous amount of the mixture on top.
  4. Brush with butter and bake for 30-40 minutes, until the pumpkin is soft.

This apple crumble is made with warm apples, red cranberries and crunchy oatmeal. Don’t forget the vanilla ice cream!

Other ingredients:

  • 160 g of oats
  • 180 g all-purpose flour
  • 160 g of brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 160 g butter, melted

Fruit filling ingredients:

  • 8 large apples, peeled, squared and cut into thick slices
  • 200 g fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 160 grams of granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons of cinnamon

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  2. Grease a pan with butter.
  3. Mix the oatmeal, flour, brown sugar and salt in a bowl. Stir in the melted butter, then use your hands to press the topping into small balls. Place the topping in the freezer while you assemble the filling.
  4. For the fruit filling, combine the apples, cranberries, sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  5. Pour the filling into the prepared pan and spread, pressing the fruit to the edges.
  6. Press the crumbled oats evenly over the fruit, and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until the crumble is lightly golden and the filling is rising around the edges.
  7. Let cool for about 20 minutes to soften the heat before serving, then top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
