Grilled steak, minced meat, vegetables and pineapple skewers – here is a clever recipe for your barbecue!

They invite you to a barbecue, and they want to spoil everyone with homemade snacks. Then we have a great recipe for you. And the trick with two springy pans ensures you can make a lot of skewers. This is not only delicious, but also very practical. Just try it.

You need that

For the snacks:

500 grams of minced meat, 1 teaspoon of ketchup, 1 teaspoon of mustard, salt, pepper, paprika powder, 1 pineapple, 500 grams of grilled cheese (Halloumi), 3 red peppers, 3 yellow peppers, 3 green peppers, 750 grams of sausages, 1.2 kilo of beef steak

To make the cream cheese frosting:

250 grams of cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley, a lemon, salt, pepper

To make ketchup:

250 grams of ketchup, 3 spoons of honey, 1 spoon of rosemary, 1 spoon of curry powder, 1 spoon of paprika, 1 spoon of chili powder

2 springform pans of the same size (square is best, round ones work too), cling film, long wooden skewers

This is how it is done

First, remove the bottom from a pan. Then place the frame on top of the second shape. Now you should stabilize the “tower”. Simply wrap cling film around the outside of the spring pan. Just cut the hanging paper, and your mega shape is ready.

Now first mix the minced meat with mustard and ketchup and then season it with salt, pepper and paprika powder.

Then peel the pineapple and cut it into slices two or three centimeters thick. Do the same with the halloumi and sausage. Everything is cut into thick slices.

Wash and clean the peppers and cut them into large pieces as well. By the way, the vegetables are even more flavored if you do not process them raw, but first fry them in a little oil and then let them cool.

Line the bottom of your “tower” with half the beef steak. Then cover the meat with a layer of yellow pepper. Half of the bratwurst pieces are placed on top and then a layer of green peppers.

Now cover the layers with the ground beef. Then comes the halloumi on top, covered in red peppers. Then there is the second layer of bratwurst pieces and the pineapple. Finally everything is covered with the remaining veal chops.

Then insert the wooden skewers evenly distributed throughout all the layers of the mold. It should definitely be enough for 20 to 25 snacks. Now put the whole dish with the skewers in the freezer for an hour.

By the way, it is better to soak the wooden skewers in water the day before and the night before. This will help you glide better on every layer. And you won’t catch fire on the grill.

Take the tower out of the freezer, remove the foil and remove the two molds. Now don’t wait too long, but cut the skewers into pieces while they are still cold.

The snacks can then be placed on the hot grill, where they must remain for at least ten minutes.
