British Dessert Recipe: Eton Mess with Strawberries
Today we present you the recipe for Eton Mess – a classic British dessert. Fruity and airy sweet!
First wash the strawberries, dry them and remove the green part. Halve the strawberries and mix with 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar. Leave it for a short time.
Put the rest of the powdered sugar in another bowl together with the whipped cream and the mascarpone. Mix with a hand mixer on low; then increase to high until the cream foams.
Now roughly chop the meringue. Prepare four dessert glasses and fill them alternately with strawberries, cream and meringue crumbs. Garnish with strawberries and refrigerate until ready to serve.
