Chocolate Parfait with Pistachios: the perfect dessert for any occasion

Dolce far niente say the Italians when they let the warm sun shine on their stomachs after a good meal. I agree with you: at times like these it’s sweet to do nothing and enjoy life. Even better than Dolce far niente is Dolce far niente a plate of homemade chocolate parfait in hand.

A chocolate parfait with pistachios takes a bit of work, but it’s enough for many servings and therefore wonderful moments. Every minute of prep time is an investment in incredible comfort. In addition to the pistachios, you have to put 6 ingredients in the right order and then guarantee a cooking coalition. The freezer does the rest. And before serving, just sprinkle some pistachios on top of the chocolate parfait. That was already.

Dessert is always possible, even without starters and main courses. However, sometimes it can be quite difficult to decide on a particular delicacy when making a selection. We polled our members and asked our editors about their favorite desserts. I’m sure the next internal survey will include something homemade like a chocolate pistachio parfait.

The perfect dessert for all occasions: chocolate parfait with pistachios

the preparation

  1. Line the baking pan with baking paper. Beat the cream until stiff. Then, in another bowl, beat the egg whites with salt until stiff. Fold in while stirring in the sugar. Beat the egg yolks. Then add the cream, melted chocolate and pistachios. Pour into the baking tray and cover with baking paper.

  2. Place in the freezer for at least 6 hours. Thaw a few minutes before serving, then the chocolate parfait will be creamier. Sprinkle with pistachios and enjoy!
